COME ON IN!

We have four entrances to our buildings. You may enter for any event through any of them. One is at the front and another at the back of our newest addition, the Education Building. It’s the one to the left of our main Worship Center (the building with the steeple on top).

Another entrance is at the front of our Worship Center, which is the center building on our campus. (We don’t use the older building on the right anymore.) Greeters will be happy to give you a bulletin and show you to the Sanctuary, or help you find a Bible study group.

We also have greeters at the front entrance to our Worship Center. Don’t let the steps there scare you. There is a ramp, too. We also have greeters at the side entrance to our Worship Center. It’s on the ground floor between the WC and our older building. It has a portico, and there’s an elevator just inside the door.

There are handicap parking spaces near that entrance in front of the Education Building and near the fence behind it. We also have parking for Senior Adults in front of the Education Building, and parking for everyone behind the Worship Center and to the right of our older, original Sanctuary.

WELCOME TO FBC ASHVILLE!

We look forward to meeting you in person

Plan your visit now and we will...

  1. You’ll be genuinely welcomed.

FBC Ashville has a culture where friendliness is more than a greeting at the door. People care about one another, notice when someone is hurting, celebrate when life is going well, and try to make guests feel sincerely at home.

  2. Your whole family can grow together.

There are Bible Study Groups for children, students, and adults, nursery care for the youngest kids, Pastor’s Pals during worship, Children’s Church for younger children, and student ministry opportunities throughout the week.

  3. Worship is engaging and Christ-centered.

A typical service includes Scripture, prayer, biblical preaching, and a blend of hymns and newer worship songs led by our Music Minister, praise team, praise band, and orchestra. It sounds full and vibrant without losing its focus on worshiping Jesus.

  4. It’s easy to find community.

With Sunday morning Bible Study Groups, Wednesday meals, ministry opportunities, and people from a wide variety of ages and stages of life, there are many natural ways to move from simply attending to actually knowing people and being known.

  5. There are meaningful ways to make a difference.

FBC Ashville isn't focused only on what happens inside the building. Through community outreach, care for the homebound and widowed, special events, children’s and student ministries, music, and other service opportunities, people can put their faith into action.

First time visiting?

Visiting FBC Ashville for the first time? We’d love to have you! Bible Study Groups begin at 9:00 AM, and worship begins at 10:00 AM in the Worship Center—the building with the large steeple. Most people park in the large lot behind the newer buildings, and you’ll find signs and friendly volunteers ready to help you find your way.

Come dressed however you feel comfortable—you’ll see everything from suits to shorts and sandals. If you have children, nursery care is available for infants through age two, and we have Bible Study Groups and age-appropriate worship opportunities for kids and students.

Most importantly, don’t worry about knowing exactly where to go or what to do. Just come on in—we’ll be glad you’re here, and we will help you find your place!

Bringing your kids with you?

On Sunday mornings, we offer Bible Study Groups for kids and students of all ages. During worship, nursery care is available for infants through two-year-olds, while children age three and up begin the service with their families.

Most Sundays, kids age three through sixth grade are invited forward for Pastor’s Pals, a short message just for them. Afterward, children in second grade and younger are dismissed to Children’s Church for a Bible lesson, games, crafts, and recreation.

We want kids to feel included, loved, and excited to learn about Jesus.

Find connection in a group

Our Bible Study Groups are open to everyone, and there is always room for someone new! Most groups meet on Sunday mornings, while a few gather at other times during the week. Some are centered around a particular stage of life, while others include a wonderful mix of ages and backgrounds.

We would be happy to help you find a group that feels like a good fit. You can call, email, or stop by the church office, and we’ll gladly walk you through the different options and connect you with a group leader. You can also arrive a little before 9:00 AM on Sunday, and one of our volunteers will be happy to point you in the right direction.
